velamma ep 85 Sparks Fly

In episode 85, after allowing her therapist to beat her up once more and enduring yet another outburst from her husband, Velamma experiences a sort of epiphany: She has spent her entire life at the whim of the men who inhabit it, and she has finally had enough of their BS! Vela enrols in a vocational training programme after deciding that in order to be truly independent, she must be able to support herself. She enrols in a welding programme with only men, though, because she has no genuine job aspirations. Fortunately, a kind young man named Arjun volunteers to teach her the skills of arc welding. Velamma is eager to fill the gap in Arjun's schooling when he admits it.
